Global Internships

Our global internships make it possible for the students and recent graduates (not more than 2 years after the graduation) to work in their field of study and become expert while getting immersed in the local culture. We have access to thousands of companies, organizations and non-profits in our global database, allowing us to place you in a position that suits your specific skills and experience. We offer a wide variety of internship placements abroad all year around.

The internships are open to all majors but most of the internships are related to business. We are currently offering internships in Marketing and Communication. (Market Research, Public Relations, Import and export, Event Management, Project Management).

The internship positions have different requirements in regards to the time commitment depending on the program you choose. The period of the different internship programs may vary from:

14-26 weeks
27-39 weeks

40-52 weeks
53-65 weeks
66-78 weeks

All the internships are paid and allow you to make a decent living according to the countries’ reality. The AIESEC office in your internship’s country will help you to find your own accommodation near your workplace.

You can be flexible to choose your destination from the available internships and also to combine several programs at the same time for instance you can even take 2-3 26 week long opportunities after each other. The time interval between your application process starts and the beginning of your internship experience may be anywhere from 7 to 8 weeks.

The internship positions are offered across Europe and Asia. The following countries have been long a popular Swiss destination for international internship experience. Companies in those regions and countries are seeking for YOU!

Depending on the length of your internship, you have to pay this fee after you found your place

Services

support from an experienced AIESEC member to find a company in your respective field
visa assistance – the hosting entity will help and guide you what visa you need
all supporting documents for visa applications are provided by them

Not included in the fee:

international and domestic airfare and corresponding airport departure taxes
costs associated with obtaining visa or immunizations (when needed) and insurance coverage

Please note

the internships are always mid or long-term
travel time is not factored into internship periods
slots are limited so apply today
the companies usually conduct their own selection procedure
you have to pay for your own flat and living expenditures as well
