Local Committee

The Local Committee St. Gallen

Founded in 1951 the students of St. Gallen accepted the challenge to be the first to establish AIESEC in Switzerland. A worthwhile work: Nowadays AIESEC St. Gallen represents one out of eight AIESEC local committees in Switzerland.

We are organized in four main departments: External Relations, Outgoing Exchange, Talent Management, and Communication. Besides the AIESEC Departments, teams in a fifth department organizes five major PROJECTS, namely Global Village, GoBeyond, MAPOW, the Latin American Day and the Emerge Conference.

TALENT MANAGEMENT focuses on our most valuable asset: our members. As a part of the Talent Management team you will organize internal events, recruit new members and develop the skills and competencies of existing ones.

Our COMMUNICATION team interacts with all our stakeholders in order to promote and raise attention for our brand. Members use social media, the internet, modern design tools such as Photoshop and Indesign and traditional marketing to increase our brand value.

The OUTGOING EXCHANGE department recruits and coaches students of our university who want to take the big step of going on an internship abroad. As this is our core business, members of this department are required to be highly professional and proactive in insuring that all our Exchange Participant (EPs) can live the wonderful experience of working and living in a foreign country. If you would like to participate in an exchange through AIESEC St. Gallen, please refer to info@sg.aiesec.ch

The EXTERNAL RELATIONS departments enhances the AIESEC International Internship Program through raising internships in St. Gallen and its surroundings in order to enable AIESECers from all over the world to experience Switzerland during an internship. For more details and how to apply, please refer to info@sg.aiesec.ch
